Social Responsibility

Regional Social and Economic Development

To contribute to the region’s social and economic development, Remasa prioritizes local hiring. With approximately 200 employees, we provide ongoing training, medical and dental care, transportation and meals. This directly benefits approximately 600 people and supports the quality of life of employees and their families.

To promote social sustainability, Remasa maintains transparent relationships with its partners and supports regional social and economic development by purchasing local products, indirectly benefiting more than 2,000 people in south-central Paraná.

Social Responsibility

Community Relationships

Remasa maintains good relationships with neighboring communities through projects involving local residents and schools. We regularly visit nearby households, keeping a channel of communication open between the community and the company. We also partner in the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges for community use.

Creating jobs and purchasing materials in the regions where we operate are also important aspects of our community relationships and their socioeconomic contribution. Working with regional schools, Remasa supports environmental education and preparation for employment through talks and hosted visits, contributing to the development of children and adolescents.

Social Responsibility

Ethics and Transparency

REMASA reaffirms its commitment to full compliance with labor laws, including equal pay for men and women and the rejection of all forms of discrimination. The company follows transparent, ethical people management practices that value diversity, equity and inclusion.
REMASA’s hiring process is based on competency assessment, ensuring that decisions follow technical, objective criteria. The company also has a formal job and salary structure that clearly and fairly guides compensation, supporting internal equity and alignment with market best practices.
This approach reinforces REMASA’s commitment to ethics, legal compliance and valuing its employees.
