Environmental Responsibility
Leaving a Positive Legacy
Biodiversity in Natural Ecosystems
Areas for planting and harvesting are determined through forest management planning and projected timber demand. Out of respect for nature and people, Remasa applies conservation practices in its operations to safeguard native forests, water resources and wildlife, preserving the biodiversity of natural ecosystems.
Protecting Biodiversity
Remasa also runs species monitoring programs to protect biodiversity. We give researchers access to our forests throughout the year to study the fauna and flora found on our properties, including rare and endangered species. Their work helps Remasa protect these species and conserve biodiversity.
Environmental responsibility is fully integrated into Remasa’s business. We work to control and monitor the environmental impacts of our operations while continually improving our products and services.
