Our nursery can produce 1.5 million seedlings annually, meeting approximately 85% of the company\u2019s planting needs. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Our silvicultural operations encompass the establishment and management of planted forests, with a focus on productivity and sustainability. Practices include selecting species suited to our region\u2019s soil and climate conditions, minimum tillage and integrated pest and disease management.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Conservation and Preservation in Harmony<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our planted forests form a mosaic with preserved native forest areas that protect water sources, wildlife and plant life, help regulate water cycles and capture carbon from the atmosphere.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Remasa owns a total of 38,387.3 hectares of land, including 18,125 hectares (47%) of planted forests and 18,856 hectares (49%) dedicated to preserving native forests. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

The native forests conserved by Remasa lie within the Atlantic Forest biome and consist mainly of Araucaria forest (Mixed Ombrophilous Forest) or natural grassland areas. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Mindful of our role in preserving natural resources, Remasa develops and supports projects and studies to gather data on environmental preservation practices alongside economic activities.<\/p>

Our research and projects indicate that planted forests provide feeding and nesting habitat and serve as corridors for many native species, including endangered species.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
